SAP Sapphire Virtual Event

The SAP SapphireNow global event is starting in just under a week and although not everyone can get to Orlando, or one of the eight other locations for the live programs, the SAP Sapphire Virtual Event is accessible to anyone.

The themes of this year’s Sapphire event, sustainable enterprise and supply chains, will be the at the core of the presentations. These sessions are expected to outline new sustainability solutions by SAP and collaborations with strategic partners. There will also be a program of sessions available on SAP social media channels.

The primary presentations will also showcase implementations of SAP cloud technologies in a wide variety of industries and commercial contexts. S/4HANA migrations will be covered in detail, along with some real world examples of how companies have been adopting Rise with SAP.

Register for Access

IgniteSAP is encouraging our community to register (here), and attend those sessions which are relevant to their own professional practice. There is value to be found in all the sessions as these will be introducing new products and developments, as well as getting invaluable industry insider knowledge from special guests.

On registering you will have access to a personal dashboard for the event which you can use to explore the content catalogue and create a schedule tailored to your requirements.

Registration also provides you with access to replays of selected content after the event, so even if you cannot view the live streams it is a great idea to register in order to view the content at your convenience.

Three Days of Presentations

The three day event will kick off from 13:00 BST (14:00 CEST) on Tuesday, May the 10th, with an introductory panel with Scott Luton and other SAP Executives.

This will be followed at 14:15 BST (15:15 CEST) with the keynote presentation by SAP CEO Christian Klein, and other thought leaders like SAP Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer Julia White. The keynote is titled “Realise the Power of Becoming an Intelligent, Sustainable Enterprise”.

Other presentations will include detailed discussions of Cloud ERP (including SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Rise with SAP), Data and Analytics, Financial Planning and Analysis, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), Employee Experience Management, SAP Commerce Cloud, and other ways to create a resilient, sustainable enterprise.

This year, in keeping with the themes of the event, SAP is partnering with the non-profit organisation Eden Reforestation Projects in an initiative to help restore Brazilian and Madagascan forests. For every SAP Virtual Sapphire session you watch SAP will donate a tree, with up to 15 trees per person, so make sure you click that option on registering.
